About Heliene
| Origin | Canada / North America |
|---|---|
| Headquarters | Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada |
| Founded | 2010 |
Heliene was born from an alliance between Helios Energy Europe and North American entrepreneurs. In 2010 the installation of an automated factory in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, was announced.
The company built its positioning on on-demand production in North America, logistics close to the customer and technical support. The name combines Helios, the solar figure of Greek mythology, with "energy".
Focus and technology
Heliene focuses on modules made in North America for residential, commercial and utility projects.
- Half-cell: split cells to reduce electrical losses
- Bifacial: modules that use light on the rear side
- Robust constructions: lines designed for demanding mechanical loads and climates
Strengths
- manufacturing in Canada and the United States
- logistics and support close to the North American market
- specialised module production since 2010
What to check before buying
North America's logistical advantages do not automatically transfer to other markets. Assess import, replacements, warranty and certification of the local code.
Buying Heliene equipment in Brazil
With few models in the catalog, security depends on a distributor able to sustain after-sales and technical equivalence over the system's life.
