About Energisa Paraíba

GroupEnergisa
Service areaParaíba

Serves the whole state of Paraíba.

Step by step

  1. Design and documentation. The installer sizes the system and gathers the technical documents: the ART/TRT of the responsible professional, the single-line diagram, the technical description and the datasheets of the inverter (with INMETRO record) and modules.
  2. Access request. The request is filed on the utility's portal, with the access request form, the consumer unit holder's documents and a recent electricity bill.
  3. Access opinion. The utility reviews the design and issues the access opinion within the legal deadline — approving it, listing requirements to fix or, when the grid needs reinforcement, indicating works.
  4. Installation. Once the opinion is approved, the plant is installed exactly as designed: modules, inverter, protections and the grid connection point.
  5. Inspection request. When the installation is finished, the installer requests the inspection from the utility — also subject to a legal deadline.
  6. Inspection and connection. The utility inspects the installation and, if everything conforms, swaps the meter for a bidirectional one and connects the system. The plant starts earning energy credits: it is approved.

Documents required

The usual set requested by Energisa Paraíba. Items marked as conditional are only needed in some cases.

DocumentWhat it is
Access request formThe utility's standard form, filled in with the consumer unit and generation data.
ID of the consumer unit holderID and tax number (CPF) for individuals, or the company registration card (CNPJ) and articles of association for companies.
Electricity billA recent bill of the consumer unit — it confirms the holder, the unit number, the tariff class and the connection type.
ART / TRT of the responsible professionalThe technical responsibility record issued by the engineer (CREA) or technician (CFT), with the fee paid.
Single-line diagramElectrical diagram of the system (grid → meter → protection → inverter → generator), signed by the responsible professional.
Technical descriptionTechnical description of the system: power, modules, inverter, protections and connection mode.
Inverter datasheet + INMETRO recordThe inverter datasheet and its INMETRO registration or certificate proving conformity.
Module datasheetDatasheet of the photovoltaic modules (power, voltage, certification).
Acknowledgement and responsibility termThe term or adhesion contract to the net-metering system, signed by the holder.
Power of attorney ConditionalNeeded when the person signing the request is not the holder of the consumer unit.
List of participating consumer units ConditionalFor remote self-consumption, shared generation or multiple units — how the credits are split between the units.

Deadlines

For micro-generation (up to 75 kW) without grid works, ANEEL Normative Resolution 1,000/2021 sets reference deadlines of 15 days for the access opinion, 7 days for the inspection and 7 days for the connection, each counted from the respective request. Mini-generation and projects that need grid reinforcement take longer.
